I am convinced they are doing anything they can to provoke an attack to justify further advancement, despite not being able to handle Ukraine. They are a war based economy now, which will take years to change which they cannot afford to do.
For once, can they fail the test, and we show some backbone?
NATO is failing these tests. They keep letting Putin cross every red line without any meaningful consequences. They haven’t even expelled a Russian ambassador over this.
Isn’t it kinda stupid to try and start a war with NATO when you’re struggling with Ukraine?
The next Russian plane or drone that violates NATO airspace needs to be shot down immediately, or these tests will continue until Russia, Trump’s fascist USA, and the world finds out just where NATO’s red line really is.
Should have already been crossed, at this point.
Turkey shot down a Russian plane and then the Russians mysteriously stopped violating Turkish airspace.
Maybe the rest of NATO should try this one weird trick.

Do what turkiye did. Ruzzia doesn’t mess around there now. Pootin laughs at western pussyfooting. Dump some Ruzzian planes into the dirt and he’ll stop smiling. Everyone knows he’s too weak to do much more than this.
They’re not just testing – they’re mocking. They know they’ll have zero consequences. In fact, if Belarus gets sactions removed they’ll be in net positive outcome. If putting on pressure in Eastern Europe will get Americans to back off, then it’s an even bigger win, as putin does not consider European countries (any) to be at all a threat.

Yup. They’re that bully on the playground getting up in your face but not ACTUALLY touching you. So when you shive them, they can say you struck first.

TBF, NATO/US has overflown Russian airspace countless times for intelligence gathering. Does it make what russia is doing ok, no.
Is it worth article 5’ing over , probably not yet.
Is it worth increasing sanctions and cutting off Russian exports of petroleum, maybe.
