The year is 2029, Russian forces are marching into Brussels, European leaders, infuriated, decide to finally write a sternly worded condemnation of Russian aggression, meanwhile new US president JD Vance supplies Russia with the latest F-47 fighters.

They are trying to provoke a military response from NATO and use it as justification to invade the Baltic.

NATO – ‚Nice Acronym Totally Outmaneuvered‘ What a fkin embarrassment.

So they are testing our defenses.
And to the people who say „we are not at war with Russia“ maybe we are not but they are at war with us.

Ah the classic lets get a meeting instead of actually responding when the incident was happening.

Now all the weak leaders can just say see we are doing something! which will just result into another Russian escalation and another redrawn redline.

Why a second time, wasnt the first convocation enough? Do they need to express even more concern?

At this point Article 4 is becoming a joke, like the EU’s „strong condemnation“ letters.

We need to shoot down the next thing (drone, plane, anything) Russia sends across the border, manned or unmanned. Adopt a „fuck around and find out“ policy.

Of course to do that, European governments need to feel confident that the voters have their backs in an escalation against Russia, and will not scream about inflation and the increased cost of groceries and energy when the escalation triggers exactly that.

    8. A lot of comments about Russia wanting to invade the Baltics, wanting to provoke a NATO attack to save face, etc.

Here’s an interesting one to throw into the mix: What if Russia wants to provoke a NATO response to claim that they’re under attack and expand their use of conscription as a “defensive” measure? Lets them throw more bodies at Ukraine or elsewhere while spinning the domestic narrative into a war of defense.

We either act forcefully now or we will loose credibility as an alliance

Pretty obvious that Russia is testing NATO

NATO have to show Russia that they are not messing around

next time shoot down the planes.

I think NATO should make a public statement that any new violation of air space will be met with NATO shooting down the planes without any warning. Period.

All these consultations don’t mean anything. Action is what stops more actions

I also think Russia is not testing Europe. Russia is testing US. They want to see if US stands by NATO or will make comments like „there we go“

For anyone saying Russia will never invade the Baltics, don’t forget that in December 2021 Russia demanded NATO withdrawal from Poland and the Baltics.

You’re deluding yourself if you think appeasing Russia with inaction will bring about an era of peace to NATO or that we’d be provoking Russia. They fucking want war.
