So..maybe a self powered hand crank ice cream maker?? That would be cool. 😉

I’m pretty sure you could get more energy just by using the low temperature of salt-melted ice mixture as the cold side of a Stirling engine
Edit: correction – this is energy harvesting rather than storage the way my suggestion would be. It seems much more interesting as a natural phenomenon to study than a useful thing to build
