      This is by design. Validators votes to increase throughout.

      They recently increased the gas limit from 30M to 36M and then to 45M.

      (Max TPS has also increased to 198 on L1 and will be 240 in a year.)

      EIP 1559, Pectra and all the other upgrades were a blessing!
