For the second time now, a terrorist has used the aid coming in from Jordan to Gaza to commit an attack on Israelis.
The terrorist, a Jordanian citizen, was a driver working at delivering aid. He left the truck with a pistol and a knife, shot and after his pistol jammed stabbed and murdered 2 Israelis. A 20 and a 68 years old civilians.
Around 150 trucks a week go from Jordan to Gaza. Will this force better and more careful inspection of the aid Israel allows effecting the amount?
Does Israel need to continue operating above what international law requires and keep supplying it’s enemies, despite it resulting in murdered Israelis now even outside of Gaza?
I think the frequency of Arab terror attacks in Israel is something that the Western world can’t really comprehend. People notice the trend in Europe, where masses are slowly moving right, in response to, at least as the media reports it, Islamic unrest. But they simultaneously condemn Israel for taking a hard line on security (ostensibly right wing) without realizing that Israel is just at the forefront of the war. I’m very interested to see how long this cognitive dissonance can be maintained.
