      I’m pretty sure most of the „Don’t tread on me“ people aren’t being treaded on, so they have nothing to complain about.

      Remember: It’s „Don’t tread on ME“, not „Don’t tread on ANYONE“

      A better question is: Where are all the people who ARE being tread on and why aren’t THEY doing more about it?

      Ironic that Gov Walz brings up a 253 years of our Sons of Liberty. I bought a 1972 SOL medal yesterday. I too wonder if we have the balls to stand up against this tyrant! Our military is made up of individuals from all the states. Will the military follow a Dictator/King? Will the American people stomach the consequences of continuing being persecuted by their leader! Intimidation is all Trump knows, besides being a bully and wanting to retaliate whenever someone makes him cry!

      So there’s a great interview in the podcast Bundyville with a libertarian dude who is deep into the ‚patriot movement‘ and at one point he mentioned what would happen if Obama had declared martial law in any fashion like they thought he would, and he says the ’shit would hit the fan‘ and the militias would uprise even if it didn’t effect them.

      The interviewers ask him what about if Trump declared martial law and he was immediately all ‚well that’s different, he wouldn’t be coming after patriots‘ so it was ok. And that tells you all you need to know about these people. They do not in equality under the law or in society. They are white supremacist that fundamentally believe they are to rule over others while you get no say in what they do.

      I’ve gotten the distinct impression that the don’t tread on me stuff is mostly a vibes thing. The majority of people like the tough guy image, but completely roll over in the face of any push back to others, their family, or themselves.

      If I was going to put it in terms of snakes: they are hognose snakes that pretend to be rattle snakes until push comes to shove.

      They lack a basic understanding of history and don’t know those jackboots will be mashing their faces into the dirt and pressing them into slave labor to grow food in just another year or two.
