i don’t care how long it takes. the wait just has to be worth it. give us greatness, and all will be instantly forgiven.

I heard a rumor that Reeves was dealing with illness, but then I read a portion of the script of the first film and it’s HEAVILY directed on the page.

It makes sense it’s taking ages if that’s how he works.

“We write the script one word per day, and spend 12hrs of the day selecting the right word.”

    4. The Batman is like a comfort movie for me now, idk why but it’s just such a solid, oddly offbeat-funny movie and I can watch it a bunch of times.

Hard pass. The last movie was very woke and I can’t take any more of that garbage.

I loved James Gunn’s approach to the project, which was „Matt is a slow writer, let him write.“ However long it takes, if the movie is as good as The Batman was, the wait will be worth it.

I’m curious if the next villains will remain grounded in reality or if they’ll go onto the mutant/paranormal villains. I anticipate sticking to the organized crime villains but it what if he’s got to take down Man Bat or Solomon Grundy?

    8. If it doesn’t star Christian Bale, how can it possibly be a Batman movie?

Was Matt in rehab or something? Jesus this took forever. I know that Reeves is a slowpoke but his dang.
