Alle diese Grafschaften sind die Mehrheit der Mehrheit schwarz, aber aufgrund der geringeren Wahlbeteiligung waren schwarze Wähler im Jahr 2024 nicht die Mehrheit in der Wählerschaft.
Weiße Wähler sind auch in diesen spezifischen Landkreisen extrem republikanisch, sogar mehr als die so demokratischen schwarzen Wähler, die erstaunliche Polarisierung schuf.
Hinweis – Schwarze Wähler sind in Mississippi immer noch demokratischer als weiße Wähler republikanisch, aber nur um ein paar Prozentpunkte.

I helped work on this project, it took a lot of heads coming together.
Things always return to the problem of voter turnout… For almost every issue.
While some people didn’t vote because they had to work (Election Day should be two days and a holiday…), everyone I personally know that did/does not vote said it was because it felt pointless. It isn’t, and we’ve allowed ourselves to believe it’s pointless, to the benefit of politicians and the wealthy. There was another post on here a while back that showed enough 18-35 year olds didn’t vote, that they could have elected a random third party of they wanted to.
