    1. *“When I hear not just our current president, but his aides, who have a history of calling political opponents ‘vermin,’ enemies who need to be ‘targeted,’ that speaks to a broader problem that we have right now, and something that we’re going to have to grapple with—all of us,”* Obama said.

How America has fallen, from Obama to Trump, Trump? Really? Like why?

    3. I had no clue who Charlie Kirk was until he died. Now I know more about Tyler Robinsons life than Kirk’s.

    4. If you’re offended by left responses to CK’s death (most of which have been civil and factual) but you’re not offended by the daily barrage of factless threats against the left by MAGA, then you have no business here.

Kirk is an obvious distraction to the many illegal operations happening in the White House! The imaginary collection of large amounts of money, Trump states that he is getting from these countries, no one believes you Trump, no one likes you Trump. Your base is scattering across our country, like rats on a sinking ship! Trump lies about EPSTEIN and is in deeper than you think!

    6. Democratic leaders and pundits almost universally condemn violence.

Republican leaders and pundits are a mixed bag. Trump himself has often enouraged violence against his opposition and mocked it.

This is a good indication of where the base of each party is at, more so than the finger pointing and fronting. They nominated Trump 3 straight times, even after J6 and the felon indictments and convictions.

    7. The number of self-serving falsehoods promulgated about his death, designed to fling blame at those they already hate, is an indication that they truly are happier exploiting the death than preventing another.

And as a Coloradan, we lost three children an hour before. These assaults on fact can fuck all the way off.

Why did he leave ambiguity when speaking about Trump? This is no time for ambiguity.

It’s worth pointing out how huge it is for a former president to be commenting on a current president let alone condemning his actions and words.

    10. I am not going to say it is unsurprising since America was built on racism but it is still crazy we went from Obama to fucking Trump. It really feels like all the progress the country made evaporated overnight .I know Obama wasn’t perfect, but I think he handled himself well, being the first black president. I guess I felt, as a black person, that maybe we were finally starting to be viewed as equals.

I guess it really was too much for those racist to bear, though.

    11. I really hope Trump’s administration actually do find some foolish loophole that allows him to run again. Then Obama can be on the ballot as well.

*Sigh* A guy can dream I guess lol

    12. We went from having one of the greatest communicators of our lifetime as POTUS, a person of dignity, poetry and grace. And now we have this vile, depraved, bubbling orange ooze, gargling and farting out disgustingness/outrage for sale. The two only have a title as a comparison.

Hearing him speak reminds me of a day when we had a president who spoke in complete sentences. And not a single mention of Arnold Palmer’s penis.

      Refreshing.

The ex-presidents of America all need to unite against Trump and his administration NOW.

In hindsight, it should’ve happened years ago. But America is not going to survive another three years of this shit. It’s falling apart rapidly.

First: I love Obama even though he’s not perfect. Second: I don’t care if what I’m about to say makes you angry!

Obama should have spoken out months ago!! The whole „what do you want him to do“ bullshit, is bullshit.

If his words matter now, they would have mattered then, too. Would democrat „leaders“ have felt more comfortable doing their jobs? Would more liberals have paid attention? Would more people be curious if just one former president appeared worried about the threat to our country and constitution?

No one knows more about trump’s job than former US presidents. Our former presidents have acted as if this is just another red vs blue cycle, business as usual. They haven’t come out and assured us trump is following the constitution and everything is going to be okay. Nor have they warned us that our country is in danger. They see the hate, the division, and where it’s all coming from. But they choose to walk away from the love and duty they once swore they had for our country and constitution. How can you do that if you were sincere in the depth of your devotion to our country? How can it just disappear, especially in a time like this?

These men have platforms that would get coverage around the world even if maga’s msm tried to ignore it. These former US presidents could call out trump, his administration, and elected officials by name and specifically name their lies!! These US presidents could fact check trump and every post or press briefing they shove down our throats. They aren’t our saviors, but they can use their platforms to calm and reassure us, or encourage us to unite and take back our country!

If Trump somehow makes it so he’s able to pursue a 3rd term, I hope it means we get to him and Obama run against each other.

He was such a good president. A true professional. He was so charismatic.
