There is no way that is real. But if it is….
I tried to fact check this and found an image of the letter here:

It has a date of the 12th on the letter not the 2nd. However the biblical date on that version is wrong. 2025 is 5785 in the Hebrew calendar whereas the letter on that site has it as 5787.
Additionally the formatting on the letter is completely different. I was trying to overlay the two images in Photoshop to look for any changes but the entire thing is formatted differently and the stamp is in a different place.
The text of the letter is the same so it confirms the Rabbi did write this at least.
Someone editing the date to make it look suspicious would be plausible except I do not see why they’d reformat the text and move the stamp. Also does not explain why the biblical date is wrong by two years on that site. Weird.
Edit:
Additionally the version on that site has the P in President overlapping the blue stamp. The bottom of the circle ends in a perfectly straight line where it has been cropped and moved.
The signature also overlaps the ‚with great respect‘ text but appears to be behind the the g and r of great.
The version on that site has definitely been edited. Poorly. I would hazard they took the graphics from the original letter but just re-typed the text over it.
So wouldn’t the obvious observation would be the date was altered to get people talking?
Is there anyway we can confirm that was the actual date? Anyone can easily just change the date and post it to cause a ruckus.
If this IS true, this would be very strange. Also given the fact that there was a book published a day before his passing on 9/9/25 about his assassination. Then Amazon had taken it down. This whole case is just OFF.
They issued a correction. They also missed the 1 from 19 Elul in the line above. See it says 9 Elul
It makes me think someone just made a mistake with missing 1 twice, but never can be sure.
So this lines up perfectly with the shooters messages about deciding this a week earlier
