      IDF has decided to put to the ground every building higher than two floors.

      When every house and tower will be rubble than the army will bomb the rubble itself.

      One of the many things that made me sad when I was in Iraq is how many beautiful priceless cultural treasures we destroyed. We never did find those WMDs, though.

      Edit: I said many things. I’m not putting objects ahead of people. I am just mentioning the artifacts because it is relevant to this post.

      While only peripherally related to the destruction of this artifact, this (IMO) is one of the more normalized acts of insanity in this timeline:

      *On 9 September 2025, during the Gaza war, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted an airstrike in the Leqtaifiya district of Qatar’s capital Doha. The airstrike targeted the leadership of Hamas, housed in a Qatari government residential complex,[6] as it met to discuss an active ceasefire proposal presented by the United States.[7][8] The attack killed and injured Hamas members, Qatari security forces,[6] and multiple civilians.*

      *Those targeted were involved in negotiations for a ceasefire to the Gaza war and an Israeli-Palestinian prisoner-hostage exchange.*

      * **Palestine (Gaza Strip)**: Continuous airstrikes, targeting Gaza City and other areas.
      * **Lebanon**: Strikes on Hezbollah targets, including Beirut suburbs and southern villages.
      * **Syria**: Hundreds of airstrikes, targeting military infrastructure in Daraa and Damascus.
      * **Iran**: Major strikes in June 2025 on nuclear and military sites, plus October 2024 retaliatory attacks.
      * **Yemen**: Airstrikes on Houthi targets in Sanaa and Hodeidah.
      * **Qatar**: September 2025 strikes in Doha targeting Hamas leaders
