It is not just you – but also that some of the newer “low beam” headlamps are so powerful that they are not easily distinguishable from high-beam lights. Seriously, who thought that these are a good idea?!?
I don’t understand that there is no better regulation for these. Being blinded during daylight. What the hell.

Yep, I find it super annoying as well. But as u/saschaleib indicated : new low beam LED headlights are made insanely bright. I always put my rearview mirror in „night mode“ because of this, but sadly there’s no such mode for the side mirrors. I’ve heard people using yellow tinted glasses to counter the bright headlights, which I’m actually planning on testing soon.
You’re also not allowed to use your high beam headlights when another car is in front of you, so I kind of hope it’s just bright low beam headlights in the picture …
