Sure cyclists don’t cycle in the lanes we have spent millions building to support their hobby
The cycling infrastructure on Malahide Road will be part of the Clongriffin Bus Connects Spine.
It was approved for planning in 2024 and construction is taking place in rotation, usually in line with when planning was approved and when the route redesign was completed in advance. Ballyfermot’s one is under construction.

This is my area. The NorthStrand/Fairview path is part of the S2S (Sutton to Sandycove) route that was proposed in 2002. It has taken them 23years to build just that section. That said, there is now a lot of funding available for the plans made ages ago, it’s just a matter of updating them to the latest standards, batting away NIMBYs and getting the Tenders completed.
You can’t see it yet, but that’s a vintage Ferrari. He’s still in the process of restoring it.
