The prosecuting lawyer „said the events of Bloody Sunday were well known and did not require retelling“. Is that unusual? Surely context is important?
Can’t wait to see Irish patriots bend the knee to Nigel Farage when he gets fired up over this again, there’s already plenty of Reform wankers who call this a woke crusade.

Worth remembering the families have campaigned for and achieved an acknowledgement of the innocence of the victims and a repudiate of the results of an earlier inquiry which exonerated the soldiers. That’s 2 of their objectives, beyond getting the soldiers prosecuted.
