    1. *Why bring the country together? Where is the money?* – Trump, most likely.

    2. Ancient_Popcorn on

Trump hates America. He’s using the murder of his lover as another way to attack Americans.

    3. Maximum_Tea_5934 on

The great governor Cox who was also dismayed to find out that it wasn’t an immigrant that killed Kirk?

    4. If Trump was serious about ‚revenge‘ he would go after Nick Fuentes and his gang of young thugs, but that is not what this is all about. That was never what it was going to be about.

Trump needs the groypers to do his dirty work.

    5. Horseshit. Cox is spreading misinformation that will get someone else killed.

    6. timetogetoutside100 on

He’ll go down in history as the worst president ever. And the stupidest.

    7. Cox only preaches peace because the alleged shooter is white and on the far-right.

    8. Healthy-Doughnut4939 on

Trump said „smart people hate me“

He’s doing his best to gut NIH, CDC and all the smart people the government hired to **cure diseases, cancer and research to help people live better and longer lives**

But what do I know?? I’m a smart person and being smart and knowing things is woke DEI, CRT bullshit

So I’ll go back to being dumb 🙃 🤪 /s

How can peace be achieved if one side thinks the only path forward is the trail of blood from the enemy side?

    10. wanderingpeddlar on

He is talking peace. What the hell is the person who wrote this smoking and why are they not sharing? The guy claiming Tyler is a lefty? The guy that says gaming corrupted Tyler?

Cox has been kissing up to Trump for a while not. Not any kind of hero.

    11. I actually think Cox’s comments have been worse, more specifically targeted and more dangerous than Trump’s. Trump’s just his usual belligerent predictable self raging against „radical leftists“ which he does every single day anyway. But Cox has been specifically trying to single out trans people and immigrants throughout this whole ordeal.

    12. hypothesis101 on

A President who even uses the word ‚*revenge*‘ in public is 100% unfit.

    13. Trying to backtrack to peace because suspect is a white Mormon kid and not a transgender person of color like he was hoping.

    14. Yeah don’t listen to this joke of a headline. Cox was literally bummed to hear it wasn’t an immigrant and is now targeting an entirely innocent person close to Robinson due to misinformation on gender identity.

He’s toeing the party line beautifully, he just doesn’t want troops coming to his streets.

    15. Raspberries-Are-Evil on

Cox “prayed” that the shooter was going to be an “immigrant” basically meaning that it was not going to be a white christian.

He is just as big as a piece of shit as Trump is just with better vocabulary.

    16. Cox did a very clever thing when he spoke about violent rhetoric, saying no one person can fix political polarization in this country and we each individually need to show decorum.

That’s bullshit. The most divisive person in this country is President Trump and if he just said literally 1 time that Republicans need to tone down their rhetoric it would completely change this country. One time.

Of course that’ll never happen, not the hang-mike-pence guy and not when republican leaders including Cox gaslight and lie on his behalf. It’s impossible to heal with leadership like that.

    17. hippoi_pteretoi on

Why are they sane washing Cox? He has spread misinformation about this as well.

    18. racedownhill on

I’m sure both Trump and the LDS leadership are pressuring Cox to “come up with” some evidence that supports the right-wing narrative. This just looks really bad for the LDS church, and Trump… well, he’s been know to put pressure on people to get what he wants.

      Cox always folds.

The “roommate” is probably feeling enormous pressure, too. The MAGA family will, of course, go along with the manufactured narrative, for obvious reasons

I wouldn’t believe a word of any of it.

    19. RipComfortable7989 on

„preaches peace“ after spending the last two days making up lies to enrage the right. Huh.

    20. Brief_Obligation4128 on

Cox threw out that „We have the death penalty here“ line as if he wanted to kill someone. He’s not for peace and never has been for peace. He’s another performative Red Hat trying to look „moderate.“

I’ll believe Cox when he calls for Lee to resign over his Melissa Hortman comments.
