It’s pretty clear one of his „associates“ gave the couple an envelope or just out right threatened them.
McGregor has plenty of sycophant hangers on in the grubby criminal element around D12. His weight throwing however has already cost him among the more serious gangsters, with his private payout to the man in the marble arch that he hit, and his pub getting firebombed not too long ago.
