SS: A Houthi ballistic missile aimed at Tel Aviv was intercepted early Saturday, with no injuries or damage reported.
The Iran-backed group claimed it carried a cluster bomb warhead. If true this would be the second time the Houthis launched those dangerous munitions on Israeli population centers.
During the last months, the Houthis have launched dozens of missiles and drones at Israel, prompting multiple Israeli strikes on their bases in Yemen. Attacks which I imagine will have to continue.
Looking forward to claims that Israel is committing genocide in Yemen when they respond to this.
Somthing need to be done about the houthis, they are a threat to international airspace in the region and international shipping in the red sea, and the Gulf of Aden affecting much of the world commerce and trade, they also playing a role in delaying any peace plan that could end the war in Gaza.
Dont get bogged down in mission creep, dont go nation build, dont get into a forever, I would advise congress to pass the marques and represial act justified under article 1, section 8 in punitive expedition but contracting it to the special ops, special forces, green bears and the use of hired mercenaries and tribes to punish the Houthis and their allies any time they pull one of these stunts.
