    1. The lowest point in Irish football for me was when the FAI announced the next Irish coach was going to be……. A dentist.

Would say I’m sick to death of 1990 nostalgia, but it seems like it’ll be a long time before we see anything like it right now.

It cannot be understated the negative impact delaney and his bunch of hangers on is having on our current set up and probably the players coming through for the next 20 years.

Improvements in junior football implemented now only reap rewards 10-20 years later.

As a short term solution we honestly need to go back to scouring the top leagues for anyone with an a Irish granny, I know football has changed so much and the money that comes with an international call up to England is massive compared to Ireland but there has to be some players who are never going to get an England call up and would welcome a chance at international level.

    4. Kelleher is a fantastic goalie, but has no defensive support at all. I feel bad for him, he had a great game against Chelsea earlier today
