Israel I’d say. Has anyone ever seen the Israeli propaganda around Dublin it’s mad. Missing posters of the hostages electricity bosses and stuff. The absolute cheek. They’re put up by the Ireland Israel Alliance

It’s not surprising really. A lot of those types can turn out to be brigading accounts, bots, or people pushing some flavour of extremist ideology – I’ve seen quite a few American accounts that rant and rave on the end of posts about Ireland, mostly going nuts anytime they see a non-Irish person commenting on Vox pops and so on. It’s very strange. You see it all the time online – like a really pleasant, normal comedy video or someone talking about food, and you’ll have someone ranting and raving a about how Ireland’s fallen or whatever, and a then lot of people assume they’re local Irish far right posters, because who goes digging into posting history etc?
I know people who have accounts for their small businesses and so on on Instagram for example, who are absolutely plagued by this kind of thing and it’s rarely local.
Obviously what Simon Harris got was more targeted and much more serious, but it’s crazy how international this stuff is. I think we need to be a bit careful about falling into our ‚only in Ireland‘ bubble on this one and start really identifying where it’s coming from. There is definitely activity aimed at causing serious instability here and it’s not all just bubbling up organically.

Also says initially the bomb threats were made via telegram , but you’re unable to dial numbers on telegram unless you either have that person as a contact or are in a group with them. So how were they able to phone a garda station via telegram to make these threats…

Not shocking. Most TikTok comments pretending to be Irish are British I find..
Sure even on here there’s people from Europe or other areas on Catherine Connolly posts swearing she’s the antichrist.

Interpol has been asked to investigate further.
Israel perhaps?
Right, so it wasn’t the Irish far right boogeyman.
Is it not a bit convenient that again as he fucked up and was getting public backlash, even media backlash this happens out of the blue?
Or a VPN
Plenty of bad players who want to destabilize Europe.
Russia, Israel or the US is my guess.

He’s in Germany. Now Sweden. Now Spain.
Wait see it’ll be the occupied 6 counties
Rhymes with Misrael.
I’m not remotely surprised, backs up the resting sense much of the bile swilling around our politics is from outsiders stirring the pot.
Israel they hate Ireland now. Not necessarily the state behind this of course but probably a link.
Honestly it could be the US or the UK, plenty of plastic paddys and just fake accounts originating from there are flooding the Irish political scene. [Sky news article about it](https://news.sky.com/story/how-international-social-media-users-are-stoking-irelands-migration-debate-13127034)
Politicians only now learning that vpns exist
