Hey allerseits, ich bin verwirrt über die Erneuerung meiner blauen Karte. Die Karte wurde im Jahr 2024 ausgestellt und läuft bereits in 05.11.2025 aus, da mein Pass auch an diesem Datum abläuft. In den Bemerkungen wird angegeben, dass der Titel bis 2028 gültig ist. Ich bin mir also nicht sicher, ob ich den regulären blauen Kartenantrag im Einwanderungsbüro erneut durchgehen sollte oder ob ich mit meinem neuen Pass nach Burgeramt gehen kann, um eine neue blaue Karte zu erhalten. Irgendwelche Erfahrungen?

There is an option to transfer your current permit to a new passport and can be done online. The process is much faster and easier compared to starting an application. If I remember correctly, it cost about 90€.
Renew your passport, make an appointment with AB, and apply for new blue card. They just issue a new card right a prolonged date.
Do not apply for a new blue card. Apply for the permit to be transferred to your new passport – this is much quicker. A blue card renewal application will be rejected.
It’s the physical card that is expiring, not the title. Just get a new card.
You should get a new card in Burgeramt.
As other said, just went through the same thing, it is the card not the visa that is expiring, so you can do get a new one from your Bürgeramt
Berlin allows this renewal in Bürgeramt instead of ABH. Google how it is in your city.
Do this once you’ve received your new passport.
