I’m going to Toronto next week. Hotels are expensive! But worth it to show support.

We usually go to a waterpark thing in washington state in the spring for a week. This year we’re going to one in Niagra.
Traveling across Canada to avoid spending money in the states.

Dear Americans – there was a time we considered you our brothers. We always had your backs. Now we want nothing to do with you. Fix your country. It’s broken.

yeah i cancelled all my travel plans to the US for the foreseeable future because, who would want to go to a country where biden and obama was president?! /s

Once again the media leads with the „due to tariffs“ again ignoring all the other rhetoric and baggage that came with it.

Went to Quebec this summer. Awesome place, great people, and the prices were very reasonable.
10/10 – would love to go again

From the UK but live in the US. Have been to Canada many times [ Halifax, Montreal, Toronto ] and have ( not-so-close ) family in the Toronto area. Would love to visit again, this time to Vancouver. Would even move to Canada if I didn’t have close family here. Cost would not be a factor. My quality of life would be the same or better in Canada, and my mental health would be vastly better ( I don’t like Trump ).

Fun facts about Canada:
– We’re the second largest country by land area
– We have two official languages
– We actually invented Hawaiian pizza
– We aren’t run by an authoritarian wannabe who tariffs penguins.

Funny, just today I was talking to a local longtime business owner — he was saying there was a remarkable increase in tourist customers (Manni’s Tokes) this year. I hadn’t really thought about it, but on reflection I’ve been seeing tourists every time I turn my head this year.

Flawed math. We’re going to the dogs!
Canadian tourism is up by 5%. Adding up the increases from a few provinces does not mean the countries increase is 30%. It even states in the video the the Canadian increase is 5%,

We have quibbled with Americans over trade for decades. We made deals and trade offs. It kind of just worked. No one was really happy with it, so maybe that was an indication it was relatively fair. But the minute HE broke his own deal and started threatening our sovereignty, that triggered a lot of people. And rightly so in my opinion. I feel for the non MAGA Americans stuck on that crazy train right now.

> According to the university, the American tourism market has seen a major decline, not just in individual travelling, but also for conferences and school trips.
> Until political tensions with the U.S. ease, it’s expected Canadians will continue to explore different regions of Canada and spend their money here.

We literally do not care at all. Theres a reason that 90% of Canadians live within 50 miles of the US border.

Bunch of us were asked if we could assist our sister company in the states and earn some OT, no one volunteered. We all have the proper credentials.
