    1. I will always maintain that banning bedsits outright was a silly and knee jerk move.

    2. I find it hard to believe that there’s thousands of bedsits out there unused in this market. When they were banned they would either be rented out as part of a house share or rent a room.

    3. I moved into a new build estate in December 2022 in phase 1.

      4 houses were assigned to social housing (it was a small estate). These houses were part of phase 1 and finished, ready to move in in 2022.

      It was only last month in 2025 people got them. The council took 3 years, I say again 3 DAMN YEARS to make them available to people due to how slow the council works. They just sat empty all that time.
