Caucasian Albania didn’t exist as a kingdom in the same way at the time. The Arabs in the mid 700s annexed most of caucasian Albania and began to colonize the plains with islamic settlers. The king of Caucasian Albania Stepanos fled up north to Shaki cambysene and reestablished independence as Hereti. Which was a smaller kingdom. Through intermarriage with the Arranshahiks of Artsakh the Arranshahiks gained control of Hereti by succession.
By the time of the seljuks, Hereti was absorbed into Kakheti at the time. Most caucasian albanian inhabited provinces were under the Persian Shirvanshahs. The principalities of Gardman and Khachen Dizag were also their political remnants. Arran was under islamic Emirates like ganja and Beylaqan.
Under the Georgian king David IV most of the Caucasian Albanian inhabited western Shirvan(Gabala, ismayilli, Ağsu, yevlakh, ujar, aghdash, shamakhi) was liberated and annexed by the Georgian empire while the mostly islamic parts of shirvan remained as a vassalized kingdom. And as vassals of the Georgian monarchy, they contributed to the wars against the seljuks.

It was long gone.

When the Seljuks arrived in Azerbaijan most people spoke Northwestern Iranic dialects, the Caucasian Albanians hadn’t been there for a very long time.

I don’t know about Seljuks specifically, but Turkic-speaking people were present in the region long before the Seljuks as well if you’re curious — including Kypchaks, Huns, Khazars, all of whom along with various native Caucasians contributed to the Azerbaijani ethnogenesis and cultural development (similarly for Kumyks, Nogai, Karachay-Balkar, Terekeme, etc. nearby).
As a side note, because Dagestan is under Russian control and doesn’t have an authentic outlet for it, I think Azerbaijani authorities need to be more protective of Udi and Lezgi people and their languages as descendants of Caucasian Albania. In the 19th century, many of the local Khanates that fought against centralized rule from then-Turkic-origin dynasties in Iran were of mixed Lezgi, Avar, and Turkic heritage. If they didn’t cooperate, and despite the Russian conquest followed by Soviet rule, there would most likely be no Azerbaijan today.
