      I find it *very* mysterious how Trump ordered flags to be flown half-mast for a fear-mongering, hate-filled conservative activist, but completely ignored the assassination of a Democratic legislator who actually tried to improve the lives of people in her state.

      What did Trump and MAGA do when this gained??? NOTHING. What did they do when an absolute garbage human being had the same thing happen to them? Order flags at half mast, flying out to meet his friends and family then sending the body to Arizona, declare him a patriot like he did something greater than our soldiers whom some have died for our freedoms, and lord knows what else?! They celebrate only those that empower them, not hold them accountable.

      I had forgotten all about the political assassination of Melissa Hortman, Speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives. I mourn the death of Charlie Kirk. The nation should mourn. I don’t, however, remember the Trump Administration showing this same reaction to the assassination of Melissa Hortman. A human life is a human life. This should not be a partisan matter. We should mourn both deaths, that of Charlie Kirk and Melissa Hortman, equally. We should find a way to bring an end to this political violence, without reference to the identity or political party or ideology of the victim!

      Where was the orange turd and his cronies when this occurred? She was actually a high-ranking state politician, so this should have been more of a big deal, but Kirk, who is not an actual politician, is being treated like a royal in comparison.

      The media is still referring to her assassination as a „killing“, but Kirk’s assassination as an „assassination“, even though we still don’t know the motive for the latter’s killing and we absolutely know the former’s killing was political. My only guess is that media is trying to curry favor with Trump and his followers, despite the fact that no amount of sane-washing will protect a news organization from Trump’s wrath. Look at what he did to CPB as part of his attack against PBS, NPR, etc.
