I tried to do the math myself, based on this:

I get a total 27.0% wage increase when you compound those over the last ten years (July 2015 to July 2025). Inflation over that period was 29.5%. So on that point seems to be correct on the part of the BCGEU and not the government.
I wish we had high enough quality journalism in this country to independently verify claims like that right in the article.
Edit: This doesn’t include things like CPP expansion though, so maybe both are telling the truth in different ways.
