Why ? I was told we use FPVs against drones because we poor mofos, and NATO they are rich guys, they have all this fancy-shmancy 5th gen fighter jets, awacses, radars, million dollars missiles, they don’t need those poors-man AA ?

The Ukrainians probably have the best know-how on drone use in modern warfare by now. It would be silly not to listen to them.

I am actually happy that for once the political visage is put aside and they accepted the help. The Ukrainians are on average probably the best in the world at this right now.

Good. We should be working together more often. I still think Polish defence industry should have cooperated more with Ukrainian one, but hopefully this will change in the future.
