If a stroke leaves persistent facial drooping after 2 weeks, that means that the stroke had enough effect on motor control to cause visible weakness in the facial muscles.
The odds of someone in their 70s-80s suffering a moderate+ stroke and being able to walk – unassisted and without instability – after 2 weeks are incredibly low (regardless of the quality of medical care or drugs used).
