“Freaky Friday” is having some success – it’s a reasonable question.

She could’ve played a coach.

Why would she be in it?
A reboot is meant to be a fresh start. Otherwise it’s just a sequel

I mean, I wouldn’t mind if she did…

Alright, I think I cracked the perfect Bring It On sequel.
Set it 25 years later. Torrance, Isis and Missy have all moved on. Torrance is a motivational speaker, Isis runs a cheer and dance academy, and Missy owns a stunt/gymnastics gym. Their daughters are now cheerleaders, and of course they end up on rival teams.
Just when the rivalry is heating up, CheerSport (the company that runs all the major competitions) announces a new rule: only teams who can go viral on TikTok and Instagram get to advance.
They’re prioritizing clicks over skill, which is a death sentence for smaller teams who actually care about the sport. Rancho Carne and East Compton end up on opposite sides again, and it’s about to blow up.
The moms are forced back together to help their daughters, work through their old drama, and save competitive cheer from becoming a reality show. And yes… they have to perform again. Imagine Torrance, Isis, and Missy on the mat one last time, pulling off a hybrid routine that mixes old-school moves with new-school stunts from their kids.
