Here we go… Neighbours gave false statements and are now arrested for perjury. This might make it harder for C to find those willing to take money from him and continue to harass his victims.

      Bah ha ha ha ha

Yet more people torched at the alter of this utter scumbag.

Folks. Any of you on here that still respect this lurch, catch yourselves on.

Everything he represents is wrong, short sighted and destructive.

    3. Gosh, I hope those two don’t say something like „McGregors people paid us to say that“.

      >The DPP has brought five prosecutions for perjury, including under the 2021 Act, over the past decade. Before the 2021 Act, perjury offences were prosecuted under common law.

      >Of the five prosecutions since 2015, three resulted in a conviction, one in a decision not to prosecute further because the suspect had died and one is outstanding.

So, not very common but not the first time either. Here’s hoping that the pair arrested decide to share their motivations for their statements.

I wonder will McGregor cover their court costs? 👀

    5. Will be interesting to see how this plays out, charges of perjury are extremely rare in Ireland.

Especially if you are a politician or a Garda. In recent memory Fianna Fail ex Minister and solicitor Willie oDea lied in court and he never faced perjury charges, a journalist even had a tape of him lying and yet still no charges followed for him misleading the court in the witness box. Then a Garda Sergeant also lied in the witness box during the Jobstown trial of Paul Murphy and he didnt face any disciplinary charges dont mind perjury charges.

So while Im happy this pair are facing perjury charges it does also show us that our laws are for some and not for others.

The gardai have much greater powers to investigate this now since it went to the DPP than Nikita Hands lawyers would have had if this had been part of his appeal. They can look at bank accounts and phone records. He really overplayed his hand here.

Says McRapists lawyers withdrew the morning of the appeal.
Does that essentially mean it was just a bluff?
And potentially he got the neighbours to lie for him?

    8. I wonder will Mulholland Law be representing the pair? They seem to be taking on all McGregor’s legal battles.

They are being arrested ~~charged~~ because they lied to attack a perceived rape victim.

But McGregor’s camp will say it’s politically motivated.

The fact this crime is never enforced will lend credence to that.

I know we’ve moved on from Victorian methods of identifying criminals/undesirables, but Mother of God that phizzog truly screams ‘Wrong ‘un’.
