Not to be insensitive, but this could have been a phone call. And/or he could have gone to Utah after the 9/11 memorial, later today or tomorrow. This did not need to be an either-or situation.
Did he even make a phone call after the Minnesota Democrats were shot? Did he visit the survivors in the hospital? Visit the grieving families?
Is he planning to go to the school where children were shot yesterday?

I can’t remember the last time MAGA was this upset over a gun death. Charlie Kirk famously said gun deaths don’t matter and empathy is bad, echoing common MAGA traits, but of course it is different when it is one of their own.
An asshat like Kirk is more important than the memorial for the day that nearly 3000 people lost their lives.
