      Sounds like detainment. I wouldn’t put it past him to use these poor workers as leverage in trade negotiations.

      Trump loves big business so I’m guessing this raid annoyed him .raids are only for the working class and not his stock market buddy companies

      So, Trump’s ICE Gestapo detained them, but now they are allowed to stay, because the South Korean government has called him to account? Because, he literally doesn’t understand economics, finances,or human rights! The stupidest President in history! I didn’t think anyone could outrank Bush Jr.!

      Tell me how this isn’t authoritarian.

      They were detained, their country of origin said no problem give them back and then the President of the detaining country was like nu uh we actually need them working here, against their wishes. So the Prime Minister of their country of origin has to persuade the President by saying they’ll totally be back but should rest first.

      Like these are people not fucking machinery to move around at whim for one.

      For two, this sounds like something that would happen in the Congo or some shit, not the United States of America. What in the strong man authoritarianism is going on here.
