    1. **From Reuters:**

Canada is evaluating its relationship with Israel after the attack on Hamas leaders in Qatar, foreign minister Anita Anand said on Wednesday, in the latest sign of unhappiness with the Israeli government.

Anand reiterated that Canada considered the attack to be unacceptable, especially given Qatari attempts to facilitate peace in the Middle East.

Canada is upset that terrorists were killed? We need a new Government, SMH.

Israel better watch out or the anti-Israel Canadian government may continue to be anti-Israel.

    4. I like how this comment section has people saying the Canadian government is both pro Israel and anti Israel. Bots don’t know what to do with this one

    5. So we should. Bombing a peace delegation at the peace talks was so unhelpful.

    6. So after a terrorist attack, the military of a Canadian ally tracked down the terrorist leaders, invaded a foreign country (without that country’s knowledge) and assasinated the terrorists.

When The USA did it, Canada had this to say:

      * (the death of bin Laden) „secures a sense of justice for the families of the 24 Canadians murdered (on September 11, 2001)“ and said that „Canada receives the news of the death of Osama bin Laden with [sober satisfaction](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reactions_to_the_killing_of_Osama_bin_Laden)“

When Jews do it, Canada needs to „evaluate their ties“

Perhaps Canada could instead consider this a victory for humanity, in that some truly awful people were removed from the planet. But no that doesn’t score any points with the coddled left-wing nepo-babies who are so terribly concerned about the rights of terrorists.

What a circus – did they ever question their ties with the U.S. after it carried out strikes eliminating terrorist leaders on foreign soil?

    8. Lets file this under „Canada does not actually care but they need to put on a spiel about how they are outraged and then when everyone stops talking about it theyll move on“.

Fact is this was not an „attack“ to harm innocents or create damage. This was quite clearly a coordinated strike that did what it was supposed to do with minimal damage and it was done with the agreeance of the US, the Saudis, the Qataris and the Emiratis. There is absolutely no other way this could have been done. The world is better without these Hamas fucks and this strike also signals that they are not safe anywhere.

Canada is evaluating ties with US after Pakistan attack, foreign minister says

Oh wait, that headline never happened.

    10. As a Canadian (who is also Jewish fwiw), I don’t really have strong feelings about what Canada’s policy is towards Israel. As I see it, the reality is that Canada has limited soft power/influence, so what Canada decides to do isn’t going to change much. If Canada bolsters its military, which is something Carney has committed to doing, then perhaps Canada will have enough soft power to be taken seriously on the world stage, but for now…

Perhaps I’m just underselling my country’s influence, though?

Love to know what Israel thinks this will do for the 20 remaining hostages?

Didn’t Canada participate in the invasion of Afghanistan, after not even getting attacked, and kill a bunch of Taliban? it’s ok for them to enter another country and spend literal years killing terrorists, but it’s a crime when Israel pulls off a precision strike with no civilian casualties. Anything to earn themselves another thank-you tweet from Hamas, I suppose.

This sends a very pleasant signal to all the wannabe Hamas fanboys in Canada.

    14. Thought the past few weeks, Canada has been all bluster an absolutely no meaningful action. Trump, Putin, Netanyahu … they’ve called all of these out of control totalitarian cruminals out … then nothing. If the Canadian government’s talk was about more than swaying public opinion, there would be meaningful action.

    15. See, the problem is that Israel should be doing targeted attacks, but a targeted attack is an evil assassination which is terribly wrong.
