I’m confused, are we meant to believe she had no idea she was dating a million £ business drug dealer?

Or that she knew and did it anyway?

because as far as I’m concerned, both of those things would 100%, utterly without question, show an inability to be a police officer?

Is there another option that I’m missing that shows anything but the fact she’s entirely unsuitable for the job?

I imagine our police forces these days will take anybody who is willing to be mugged off everyday for a disappointing salary.

Should absolutely be sacked, for having an affair with her superior within the force, never mind having a relationship with a drug dealer (and I refuse to give credibility to the suggestion that she had no idea).

Truthfully it wouldn’t surprise me to find out that riding is common within police services.

    4. She’ll probably end up as a prison officer in a male prison 🤣. Probably be her ideal job!

A woman of extremes, she needs a priest and a corrupt politician for poker.

      This article is rather baity…

She ‘avoids a misconduct hearing’ because whilst still in probation she can be dismissed much easier without the need for one.

I think that married Chief Superintendent Daniel Greenwood, who had sex with a probationary PC 7 weeks into their employment should be getting more criticism here.

Obviously,  her dating a drug dealer is a different concern entirely.

The somewhat overlooked aspect is the attempt to destroy evidence, an impressionable junior having an affair with a senior – she is at the low end if blame there; relationship with a drug dealer is highly dubious but it could be a simple case of not having enough evidence to prove she had knowledge of his activities – a very ha d standard to prove.

But the lack of discipline for attempted destruction of evidence is very concerning.

This is a problem with recruitment as much as anything. We’ve seen this with the prison service. Immature young men and women being given jobs the wholly incapable of doing
