Why should China listen to the US? If you want China to stop buying Russian gas, the answer is simple. Give the Chinese a better deal than the Russians. However, because of the US current political climate, giving the Chinese a fair deal or even trying to improve relations with China is political suicide. Therefore, the US administration can only bark demands, while China simply ignores.
Trump has managed to turn the entire world against America in nine months. They’re all moving on without us and nobody is returning his calls anymore. What a fat fucking loser.
