Good! This was an idiotic idea for three reasons:
1. Sensible private data should not be given to loads of private parties.
2. Banning ticket sales for problems which are exclusively happening outside of the stadiums are not productive and thus not proportionate.
3. We are a federal state and the cantons must govern in security aspects, if they want to do so. You cannot cry Kantönligeist and then ask for the federal government whenever a task is not so easy.

>ein Entscheid der Justiz- und Polizeidirektoren der Kantone gewesen, personalisierte Tickets künftig auch gegen den Willen der Sportklubs einzuführen
Absolutely bonkers that unelected bureaucrats and police functionaries can enact laws like that. Is this a democracy or what?
>Dazu brauche es eine Anpassung der einschlägigen bundesrechtlichen Bestimmungen
I fucking hope so.
I understand that civil servants are important and valuable. But when those „civil servants“ have a strong political agenda and the power to enact it without elected officials getting a say, like these folks at the police, it’s a detriment to our democracy. Good thing it was stopped this time.
