      I’m not at all surprised, just disappointed. Russia is a bully. They will continue provoking, taking it further and further, until they are stopped. We should at the very least take this as grounds for intercepting any and all Russian drones flying over Ukraine to ensure they don’t reach NATO airspace.

      NATO is just full of bluff when it comes to defense. Mutual defense seems to be a figment of the imagination. How can you attack a Country by mistake? The very notion is absolutely ludicrous.

      Europe is not responding with military declarations not because its weak… its the opposite. We value our soldiers’ lives, and don’t want to escalate as its a one way ticket, a ticket that can end up costing millions of lives. Reddit should relax with all these comments.

      What next? Will we get armed drones exploding in NATO territories without reaction? Then what? People dying because of these drones? And next there will be annexation of Estonia and NATO will not do shit with pretext of – 20% of Estonians being Russians so who cares?

      The drones were probably jammed and went off course. Poland probably wasn’t the real target. Really guys, you don’t want to start a war because EU has to look though. Let them clear this out first. Poland invoked article 4, so NATO will come together to discuss this (there was a meeting planned today anyway).

      People here are disappointed that NATO doesn’t declare all out war after a non-lethal act of aggression by Russia. Does anyone on the internet have the slightest idea what such a war would mean for Europe and the entire world?

      Non-Polish NATO aircraft were also scrambled to help shoot down some of the drones, and Poland is now invoking article 4. That feels like an appropriate reaction to me.

      It’s obvious that Russia is testing NATO, it would be foolish to think they would just jump straight to all-out war.

      its an unacceptable and deliberate incursion, and we will take measures.

      Just shows that it was never about NATO’s expansion for Putin. Hungary and Slovakia are both enslaved to Russian Oil and influence. While NATO yet again looks like a paper tiger.

      As another post mentioned, NATO is a bluff when it comes to defense. Makes you wonder why it even exists. Perhaps with the US wanting out of NATO and focusing on deploying troops in their own cities, it’s time to create a European Defense Force that stand up to Russia and its allies.

      My thoughts are wandering to that supposedly little town in the Baltics where NATO apparently said if russia takes it, it will be a declaration of war on NATO. but Russia does all these probes and attacks into Poland and doesn’t bat an eye. I get the feeling Putin could walk all over the Baltics, and get a ‚ Hey, Putin, you’re being naughty.‘ and do sweet nothing about it besides ’sanctions‘.

      I think I’m with NATO on this one. Drones in the airspace isn’t good but they didn’t hit any targets so unless there’s irrefutable evidence that they were destined for Polish targets, I think it’s hard to call this an outright attack

      This has been the case though out the entire war. It would be a political win for Russia to get the other European countries to acknowledge their involvement in the war.

      With acknowledgment, there will be a small anti-war crowd, no matter how justified the war is. These people’s voices will be amplified by Russian propaganda and erode the support of Ukraine under the banner of nonviolence .

      It wasnt an attack on poland so that makes sense, but they probably dont want stray drones coming into their airspace either so makes sense for article 4.
