Yeah I was surprised to hear the other electricity providers are increasing their prices. Seems like it’s really important now to be switching around.

It’s weird that when a decrease is announced I can only react with suspicion
Give it time and they will increase the electricity price
They are just jumping on energia price change, people are moving and seemingly energia are saying 3-5 day wait to get back to you
Move to ESB, give it a month so cooling off period is gone and raise prices
Good move. SSE reduced gas prices in NI last week, hopefully will do same here too.
WTF! Energia putting their electricity prices up on 9th October
Im with energia for the CEG payment. I put in all my data from 2024 and 2025 and energia with the increases will be €976 per year and electric ireland with current pricing would be €579. Just clarifying my contract is voided before I switch.
Well you see the data centers don’t use gas
Just called energia there and they cancelled one of the cancellation fees, so when we move it will only cost us the 50 extra. I haven’t gone through switcher yet, anyone any idea which options are the cheapest now?
