They claimed making the water companies private would make them more efficient, what they didn’t mention was that they would mostly be more efficient at price gauging and dumping shit in the water.
As a former wastewater engineer at SWW and Wessex, I can bore you with the exact reasons this is happening and will continue to happen. The wastewater network is beyond repair.
