    2. I was on the assumption that the complete destruction of Hamas and prevention of another successor group from rising would be the major „finale“ not necessarily the hostages and negotiations. Israel put a maximalist goal after Oct 7.

      How much of the Qatari protesting is genuine? Are they weary of Hamas and raised a token protest just in case?

      Because Qatar isn’t some podunk state in which you can just fly in and lob bombs.

      Genuine question – what do the Israeli people think of this escalation? Are they mad their country attacked Qatar? Are they fine with it? How much longer can Bibi keep dragging this out? Genuinely asking.
