“I mean, come on, who doesn’t smack the wife around a little if she doesn’t look nice or dinner isn’t hot” <rolls my eyes as I try to turn off this 1950 movie from hell>

Ivana Trump claimed in a court deposition that he raped (she later denied it). But it’s worth remembering Michael Cohen’s response:

“You write a story that has Mr. Trump’s name in it with the word ‘rape,’ and I’m going to mess your life up … for as long as you’re on this frickin’ planet … you’re going to have judgments against you, so much money, you’ll never know how to get out from underneath it,” Cohen said according to The Daily Beast. “You’re talking about the front-runner for the GOP, presidential candidate, as well as a private individual who never raped anybody. And, of course, understand that by the very definition, **you can’t rape your spouse**.”

This man, convicted of felony assault against women, is now declaring crimes at home by a man against a woman, shouldn’t count as a crime. That man is a royal piece of shit.

Mr „Grab ‚em by the pussy“ strikes again with another bit of tripe dehumanizing 50% of the population.

I guess we know now why Melania is always so withdrawn in opinion and why she doesn’t even speak up when he goes around cheating on her or sexually assaulting women & girls; Trump clearly smacked the opinions out of her.

And the COVID numbers wouldn’t have been so bad if we just stopped reporting infections…

MAGA: „We *hate* women. They are to be subjugated in every possible way right down to their biology and their consciousness.“

MAGA women: „That’s right. Except for me. Just all the uppity women.“

    7. Is he just fully committed do being evil? I don’t see what political advantage a statement like that has… Then again, it’s a cult.

    8. Trump raped the mother of three of his children. He pulled her hair so violently during the rape that he pulled out handfuls of her hair.

Of course he’s ok with violence against women, he’s a rapist.

Rescinding „No Fault Divorce“ is one of the goals of Project 2025! In the 50s and 60a before No fault divorce women were imprisoned, impregnated, raped, beat and killed by their husbands with no escape! Of course, domestic violence is not a problem, it is foreplay for the rapist thugs at the Predator Patio event!

This scumbag literally has no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Fuck’s sake…even Hitler was at least a dog lover.

unsurprising, given that domestic violence is one of the many crimes that this country let him get away with throughout his 50+ year criminal career

    12. An unpleasant reminder that Trump and many of the others on the right have a strong affinity toward what Putin has done to Russia. And there’s something pretty horrific that’s gone on there in regards to domestic violence. In 2017 Putin signed a bill into law that decriminalized certain domestic abuse. First time offenders who don’t cause serious injuries to their partner would only get a maximum of 15 days in jail, a fine equivalent to around $500, or 120 hours of community service. And repeat offenders would get a nearly $700 fine, six months of community service, or up to three months in jail.

    13. I mean. Obviously, he would be of this opinion. This is standard, boiler plate, conservative mindset, he’s just saying the quiet part out loud. This belief is normally couched in much more appealing language, but the pervasive belief is that woman need to obey their husbands, or else. Any violence, directed by the man towards the woman, is nobody else’s business or problem.

The same but moreso applies to children, obviously.

I genuinely have a hard time believing that this isn’t just commonplace knowledge, people aren’t surprised by this idea, right?

ETA: He’s connected to Epstein and he’s trying hard to hide his deeds. His unwillingness to release the list means that he’s likely implicated in serious wrongdoing.

Ivana told us T r*ped her.
Her death wasn’t mysterious to anybody else? And the fact that she’s now buried in the middle of a golf course?

    15. So if I had a MAGA husband who pissed me off for the last time, it’d not be a crime if I punched him in the throat?

    16. Does this mean we can finally stop hearing about Abrego-Garcia as a “violent criminal” because of his past domestic violence?

Oooohhhh…wrong skin color. He’s brown; not orange

As a survivor of more than a few things, when I need to be reminded that victims aren’t always blamed by those in power, like this administration loves to do, I think of when Biden was VP and he wrote an open letter to the Stanford Rape Victim. Regardless of Bidens legacy, we once had a president capable of such empathy as this:

„I do not know your name — but thanks to you, I know that heroes ride bicycles.

Those two men who saw what was happening to you — who took it upon themselves to step in — they did what they instinctually knew to be right.

They did not say „It’s none of my business.“

They did not worry about the social or safety implications of intervening, or about what their peers might think.

Those two men epitomize what it means to be a responsible bystander.

To do otherwise — to see an assault about to take place and do nothing to intervene — makes you part of the problem.

Like I tell college students all over this country — it’s on us. All of us.

We all have a responsibility to stop the scourge of violence against women once and for all.

I do not know your name — but I see your unconquerable spirit.“

Putin decriminalised domestic violence. Trump wants to do the same thing.

Why is this man, and I use that description with great hesitation, not in jail?
There is a rot in our system.
When Trump falls, and he will eventually fall, I hope with all my being that all his assets are seized and he gets to spend the rest of his miserable existence in the general popularion of a penitentiary filled with Hispanic males related to some if the many people he hurt.
Felons know how to deal with child molesters.

    21. According to the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence (NRCDV), intimate partner homicides make up approximately 10% of all US murders and of those, women comprise approximately 70% of those killed. In other words, one out of every 10 people murdered is by an intimate partner, and seven of those ten murdered are women. Research tells us that women are far more likely to be killed by an intimate acquaintance or spouse than by a stranger.

I guess we know how Ivana ended up dying from blunt force trauma to her torso while falling down the stairs.

    25. Same_Set8195 on

Just like murdering his wife and burying her in his golf course.

If he can do that to his wife then imagine he can do this entire country by extension…
