      Here’s an idea…. Drop the tariffs against the EU, be more competitive in oil and gas pricing, AND do the right thing… put heavy sanctions on Russia.

      Mango has to put up something tangible and in writing to get them to buy in. Simple as that.

      European leaders should be ashamed of themselves. Even Trump, supposedly a Russian asset, is doing more for Ukraine than they are. How embarrassing is that? The US doesn’t even have to help since it’s not being threatened. All of Europe is being threatened by Russia. Why can’t European leaders do the bare minimum and stop all trade with Russia?

      Weird messaging in some respects.

      Doesn’t he say drill, baby, drill. Yet encourage the stopping of fossil fuels like oil and gas?

      Doesn’t like windmills or solar panels but doesn’t propose an option to stop using them?

      It’s a fucking mess what comes out of the US ATM.

      (I appreciate this messaging is just a way to back out of doing any sanctions as he knows his bestie orban needs the dinosaur juice).

      There is not much entities who are heavily buying, most of them are Putin’s shills like Orban and Fico, who are having corruption interest or even owning refineries directly. This is more like EU can not do anything about own members

      The answer is „No“. Or would be in any sane environment. Nothing the US promises can be relied on, no motive of theirs be taken seriously. Exit from russian purchases is proceeding, at a pace not dictated by the orange King and his ilk.

      Wait isn’t the US itself importing fertilizers, Uranium from Russia and then making a profit by selling weapons to EU with a 10% markup who then supply it to Ukraine?

      Realistically speaking. How much will the gas be if it does not come from India?
      I really don’t understand, why Europe simply not buy Indian gas? They know where India gets the oil

      Europe should stop buying oil and gas from Russia, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. Because these countries are helping Russia avoid sanctions.

      (British) I do agree with this but, its mostly only the pro-russian nations that are the problem. The very idea of them being the thing that stops extra sactions is just more incentive for them to not stop. Orban gets double points from vlad by keeping the oil coming.

      Im not anti EU but the EU needs to get its ass in gear and deal with its ‚rogue states‘ or at least make changes to its veto system.
