As an Orthodox Bulgarian I find this repulsive. How can we be closer to God if we don’t respect the beliefs and values of others? One of my favourite movies of all time is Kingdom of Heaven and I recommend it for anyone who wants to see how different religions can respect each other or be driven to polar opposites.

Most of the Bulgarian Turks were forcefully relocated to Rumelia, as they had resisted and revolted against the Ottomans in Central Anatolia.
Nonetheless, far-right groups in both Bulgaria and Turkey have been spreading misinformation, portraying these people as if they had conquered Rumelia. In reality, the Karamanid Turks were oppressed under the Ottomans, no differently than the Bulgarians.
Just don’t fall for the far-right propaganda.

The statement actually presupposes that diversity itself has value (otherwise the qualifier “your” would be unnecessary).
The message implies: *“We want diversity, but not the kind you’re pushing on us and we prefer a different, more genuine or self-determined form.”*

Some forcefully, some for tax incentives, some for privileges etc. we cannot use blanket reasons for their conversion. However you are right that some indeed were forced into it.
That is a correct and based statement.
So Bulgarians wrote „we don’t want your diversity“ in English on a Mosque in Bulgaria.
