      (Not all) men will often cite women’s comparatively lesser presence in the military as a reason that they’re weaker and less useful to society, and that we need themas „protectors.“ This is what happens to women in the military, ans these are the men who are supposed to be protectors.

      Armies around the world probably have this issue, remember the American girl in Afghanistan who was found in her tent with multiple gun shots and acid on her genitals to clear up evidence? Ruled suicide of course.

      Why is it the normal police force dealing with it and not a court-martial? The latter would probably be more likely to give him a reasonable punishment too.

      This is bad, really bad.

      This is where the whole thing falls down. The failure of this officer to protect his soldier is inexcusable. Many of them bang on and on about leadership, fill their linkedin page with waffle, yet fail to demonstrate it. Creeps are always going to creep, the grown ups are supposed to be the safety net. Here is a young teenage soldier who has been abused and harassed by two NCOs and abandoned by a commissioned officer. These fuckers will be the ones handing out AGAIs to others for not „meeting the service standards“……….

      I hope none of them receive a pension but I’d bet that Capt Hook remains in the military and received a minor slap on the wrist.
