He clearly misread the Hippocratic oath…missed the word „no“. .Honestly, it could happen to anyone /sarcasm

    2. Did you all hear the new AI Tina Turner hit

„What’s science got to do with it“

    3. To be fair, SURGEON GENERAL should abviously already know this / did he not go to medical school of some sort?

    4. This dude is an evangelical wacko that thinks god will take care of things as long as you believe hard enough.

    5. And, with that, FL’s medical reputation hits sub-zero confidence levels. If the top doctor can make blanket statements like this, flies in the face of hundreds of years of medical science.

What’s next? Insulin isn’t required for woke diabetes? Walk that shit off?

      Cancer is woke?

Should I keep going? Asking for a friend.

Don’t give him a pass by just saying he is an idiot. This guy went to medical school. He is somewhat intelligent. He is choosing to do this.

It’s like how Trump voters didn’t study how his policies fucked everyone over the first time.

    8. Ah yes, the morality of just letting people die from diseases that are easily prevented.

“I don’t care if people die or get sick, that is not my job, my job is to do whatever ron desantis tells me to.”

    10. >Parents should always be able to decide what goes into their kids’ bodies. It’s not complex at all

Does this extend to puberty blockers and hormone therapy for trans kids?

That sounds pretty incompetent. How the hell is he their surgeon general?! What a clown show!

    12. This is what happens when you hire yes people who aren’t qualified for a job but will do as they are told. There are going to be a lot is sick, disabled or dead kids in red states before these idiots figure it out. If it wasn’t affecting innocent kids I’d say fuck em let them die but someone has to care about their kids because they sure don’t.

    13. “There’s a conflation of the science and what is the right and wrong thing to do,” he added. “It’s an issue of right and wrong.”

I need yall to understand that Republicans literally do not think you and your family getting sick and dying is wrong.

Because “vibes” is good enough for the surgeon general 🤦🏻‍♂️

When you hear the idiom „the blind leading the blind“, it means a situation where a person who is ignorant or willfully ignorant in a particular subject is advising or guiding someone who is equally ignorant and inexperienced, often resulting in negative consequences.

This is what’s happening in Florida.

    16. Have met him twice, met his predecessor twice. He is even worse in person. He cannot bother to look up from his phone to actually make any form of contact.

This is a parent choice issue. Just like if I want my young kids to drive a car, that’s my choice. If I want them to operate a semi-machine gun, that’s my choice. If I want them to catch contagious diseases and spread it to the community, that’s my choice. There are no more rules or regulations it’s just what I decided is best for my child, and if other people don’t like it, that’s their problem. /s

Keep them sick, keep them poor, wanting and working. That’s their strategy.

I’m no doctor and I didn’t study either, but, I can say with certainty that no vaccines will raise diseases.

I know if I told my boss „sorry I didn’t look into it even a little bit“ after making a giant terrible decision, that went against basic knowledge, at my job I’d be fired on the spot. My job isn’t even important. This POS is probably gonna get a promotion.

    21. I tried to think of some smart ass post to get upvotes. After that, I just stared at my phone for 5 minutes. This isn’t even funny anymore; it’s dangerous. Who would have thought that massive advances in technology and accessibility would lead us towards a new dark age of ignorance? It’s hard to be optimistic in a world shared with people like this, to whom words like fact, proof and evidence no longer mean anything other than what they want them to.

    22. Good for Florida this is what the armpit of America deserves. Have fun burying your kids.
