I’m a sucker for the franchise but I can’t stand Leto.
Now that quote just makes it sound like it’s not gonna be a good movie, and that the actors knew it
Can’t even remember Murphy being in Tron.
He’s too big for a cameo for a side role from over a decade ago anyway, unless they were willing to pay the big bucks and do a sequel with him as the lead.
I will never stop mourning the sequel with Garrett we could have had. Sigh.
Who would want to be in a movie with Jared Leto….no one with integrity
It seems a little obvious to suggest that a Tron movie is going to result in a flop, so I’ll just say that I’m really enjoying Tim Meadows in Peacemaker.
Maybe they don’t want to be in it because Jared Leto is in it?
Why do they insist on keeping Jared Leto around?
A Tron movie without Tron is pretty stupid already, isn’t it. Especially as Morbius is playing an unintentional parody of Tron anyways.

If that’s the case stop using Jeff Bridges and just make a „Tron universe“ instead that way stories can go on without previous actors starring in it
As it’s been said, Jared Leto is the problem with this film.
He has not been in a certified financially successful film in almost a decade. If you don’t believe me look it up. He’s been in okay movies like Blade Runner 2049, but at this point I think he’s literally box office poison.
And even then the last actually successful film was Suicide Squad 2016 which is known as one of the worst movies in recent memory.
I typically side with artist choice as I usually believe “if you don’t like my art then make your own” mentality.
But at this point PLEASE stop casting him in franchises. I’m just an armchair fan but it’s so obvious that he’s not the right choice and almost every comment is how they dislike him.
He won an Oscar almost 12 years ago in an Oscar bait film. Move on from this man.

They realized that the last movie was boring overrated trash minus a decent sound track and said you know what I’m good.
Or maybe they read the script and heard who was cast…… ? .. and didn’t like it? Not long to wait to find out.
I hated Leto being cast, but seeing the trailer I didn’t like seeing light cycles on real life streets. It’s giving jumping the shark vibes.

I watched Legacy last night, and Cillian Murphy was literally a blink and you miss it cameo. Not sure why he was cast in the first place.
To not include Garrett Hedlund is a little odd, but it’s wild that Bruce Boxleitner is not in it.
Funny that no one complains about Olivia Wilde.
Who is doing the soundtrack? That’s all I care about. Daft Punk is 90% of the reason Legacy was decent.
