      No one in the comments is giving an intellectual guess as to *why* this isn’t being shown in the mainstream media, so here are a few guesses:

      – black on white crime, media doesn’t wanna touch that these days
      – Ukrainian refugee killed by ally national, thats likely to cause a lot more harm than anything else
      – mental illness…who cares? He wasn’t white, he was black and homeless, this isn’t headline news. (IT SHOULD BE BECAUSE ITS SO DAMN COMMON.)
      – he didn’t use a gun, so they can’t twist the story into a mass shooting event.
      – it was random?

      Anyway, that’s my take.

      Our local reports have said that a few weeks prior to this the man called the police on himself saying he was having a psychosis episode. He was not hospitalized or given care.

      “Charlotte police had arrested Brown before — most recently for reportedly misusing 911.According to a January arrest record, Brown told responding officers during a welfare check that he believed someone had given him “man-made” material that was inside his body, controlling when he ate, walked, and talked.” So not only didn’t receive any help but was charged with a crime when he asked for help.

      Black fatigue hysteria or whatever new term y’all are using to push certain talking points is a lot easier than actually looking into what’s happening to people in this country.

      I wonder how those viewers would feel if they found out that their preferred news outlets were networking to suppress all these stories that go against their worldview for their entire lives. Would they even change their mind at this point? We have the most access to information in human history, yet there are entire populations that just arent aware of anything because we let a small group control the entire narrative. Makes me sick

      I was talking politics to a relative several years ago. This was shortly after the horrific Waukesha Christmas Parade attack that killed 6 and wounded dozens. This person prides himself on being a news junkie but had not heard about one of the worst mass attacks in US history – because the murderer was a Black Nationalist and the victims were all white.

      100+ murders a day. They all don’t make the news especially if the victim isn’t white.

      What I find odd is that we rarely see national coverage on murders that happen in small towns. It’s like there’s a concerted effort to make urban areas look dangerous and, by omission of similar stories, small towns feel safe.
