      >West Point Association of Graduates President and CEO Mark Bieger announced the cancellation in a faculty email on Friday, claiming the decision will better enable West Point to “focus on its core mission of preparing cadets to lead, fight, and win as officers in the world’s most lethal force, the United States Army.”

An award ceremony was preventing their mission?

Is the Army that soft and mentally slow now that an award ceremony would distract them?

They really shouldn’t be broadcasting that if true

Obediently following the orders of their MAGA idol. In military life there’s never anything called an illegal order, regardless what atrocities may occur, if he says it. If held accountable sometime in the future for anything they do just count on hearing the Nuremberg defence.

It used to be a big deal, looked on with respect, when a young person in your community got accepted to West Point. Now with WP leadership leaning into all these hateful regressive MAGA policies, I just side eye anyone celebrating their kid’s acceptance there.

    5. JFK! This man, along with Spielberg, was the driving force behind The Band of Brothers, The Pacific and the god damn World War II Memorial in DC.

It just pains them knowing that a democrat has spent more time and money remembering and honoring the Greatest Generation and their sacrifices than the supposed patriotic party.

“The Pentagon also reinserted a portrait of Gen. Robert E. Lee into the West Point library in late August, according to the New York Times. In light of the decision, the Army’s communications director, Rebecca Hodson, said, “Under this administration, we honor our history and learn from it — we don’t erase it.””

Ah, so they’re going to teach the cadets that Lee was a traitor and should have been executed at the end of the war. Right?

    7. I always thought the whole thing about the military was to not turn young people into mindless killers, but disciplined, principled thoughtful people who have the skills to reintegrate into society. This new Department of war is going to produce a generation of psychopathic killers who will one day be released onto the streets and expected to fit into a world they are not prepared for.

    8. I don’t usually care about Movie drama but no one hurts my Greek brother!

PS. Everyone that says he isn’t Greek lies. Just ask him.
