Because it shows him as a tax avoider, but his cult don’t care and make up excuses for him.

I swear I heard him on the radio saying it doesnt matter if Rayner was breaking the law or not that its the principle shes not paying tax when working people need the tax money?
Mental. All of Farage’s sources of income are very relevant if he’s going to go after the current party for their tax affairs. Hypocrisy has no place in democracy.
Doesn’t the ministerial code only apply to ministers?
Farage’s Tax affairs are extremely important. A man who has connections to a long list of bad actors…. Who is positioning himself to take over the country…. His tax affairs are extremely important.
To hide them now just proves he’s a crook.
It’s almost like they don’t care about hypocrisy or the elite if they get to a) say the word, b) do violence to minorities

I think the fact he didn’t underpay tax is probably quite key to this…
Any MPs tax affairs should be required by law to be made public. Simple as that, anyone who puts their name for MP should be required to have their investments made public.

If Tice thinks NF’s tax affairs aren’t relevant (because of the tax he is actively seeking to avoid paying), maybe someone should be looking at every Deform politicians tax affairs.
I mean, they are a party of the people for the people, right? Right?
They aren’t, though. Since the mid-2010s, tax avoidance has been unacceptable for people with a high public profile. He can’t even claim to have been badly advised. He just doesn’t cut the mustard when it comes to the moral fabric of who we need as our leader.
Sadly people are just so fed up with the current political options they seem to be happy to ignore the same hypocrisy if not worse is there in the alternatives. Poorly educated, just like in the US seem to be happy to ignore it.

As much as I dislike the guy and the brand – there’s a huge difference between avoidance (which this appears to be) and evasion.
This is a very annoying issue.
On the one hand you have someone who cocked up a complicated situation (that most of us are honest to admit we wouldn’t know any better), who explained everything – including some very personal information that none of us are entitled to know about – and referred herself to further investigation, and then resigned when said investigation found she’d broken the rules.
All within a week and a half of the story breaking.
Oh, and is also going to pay the tax she incorrectly didn’t pay.
On the other hand you’ve got someone who has deliberately and knowingly gone through the necessary steps – that those of us without his financial clout or connections wouldn’t have available to us – to avoid paying the tax that he damn well knows he should be paying, and also knowingly lied to his constituents, and when called out on it gives a weak excuse of „Oh no I meant to say this.“
And we all know he won’t face any consequences in terms of his political clout or reputation.
Sometimes the law really is an ass.

It is true, they don’t care if their team leader does something wrong. Bad things are what you use to attack the other side with.
But Angela Rayner’s tax affairs are? I wonder why that is? Oh yes, because to men like Tice, right and wrong is all about what side you’re on.
It is only irrelevant to me because I was never going to vote for him anyway. It is only relevant to prove how hypocritical he is and why no one should ever trust him.
