Voyager 1 und Voyager 2 starteten 1977 und machten eine große Tour durch die Außenplaneten des Sonnensystems. Sie sind das einzige funktionierende Raumschiff im interstellaren Raum und senden immer noch Messungen des interstellaren Mediums zurück.

We were blessed to have Carl Sagan. I watched COSMOS as a kid & have been insatiable since. The Pale Blue Dot gives me chills to this day.

Was really a smart move by JPL, otherwise since almost 50 years every article about the Voyagers would have to explain why 2 was first at Jupiter and Saturn.
