Those coins typically have a print run of 30 million. So yes, it is a special edition. But it is not rare at all.
That’s nothing special. Only the copper has weathered.
There’s nothing particularly special about this coin. The centre of the coin is made of nickel and brass, and the brass has just tarnished slightly.
The coin is one of a series depicting the different states of Germany: this one shows Baden-Württemberg as represented by Maulbronn Monastery. It’s worth exactly €2.
It’s from Baden-Württemberg, from **THE LÄND**!!! Of course it is special!!!!
^(To the colouration though … just a staining, maybe due to some contaminant?)
